Well, there isn't much to report in the Saunders household. We have been loving life as parents for these last 3 weeks, and we can't even imagine life without Cole here now! It seems like it has been a lot longer than 3 weeks, but it really has only been that long. We have been keeping ourselves busy, getting out of the house to see Grandma Dede and Ami Jen, as well as Grandma and Grandpa Saunders. We even got out to go bowling with Dede and Jen on Sunday, and Cole slept through the entire thing. He is so good all of the time, but especially when we are out of the house. He stays quiet until he absolutely needs something, and even then is very easy to calm down. We are getting enough sleep, amazingly, since Cole sleeps in 3 hour spurts, and we sleep when he sleeps, even if that means sleeping at odd hours during the day. We had our 2 week checkup (a little late, since he is now 3 weeks!) on Monday, and Cole is now 9 lbs 4 ozs, and his Dr. says he is right on schedule as far as his weight gain goes and he is now 21 1/2 inches, so he is growing quite a bit.
